The mission of the Case Shoulder & Elbow Service is singular: provide competent and compassionate care for a wide spectrum of shoulder and elbow disorders
using the most advanced techniques and treatment paradigms available. As part of fulfilling this mission, the Shoulder & Elbow Service is actively involved with
clinical and basic science research in an attempt to help lead the way to deeper understanding of shoulder and elbow problems and, ultimately, improved treatment
and outcomes for our patients.
Reuben Gobezie, M.D., the chief surgeon of the Cleveland Shoulder Institute, is a nationally recognized leader and pioneer in shoulder surgery. He has contributed
to significant innovations and research in the care of shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff repair and instability of the shoulder. He is passionate about providing
the most informed care for his patients in an effort to return them to the lifestyle and activities they desire and value.
